HB 832, PN3805 The legislation amends the Crimes Code to further provide for tattooing and to prohibit certain body piercing.  The bill adds the definition of “body piercing” to the Crimes Code and requires the presence, rather than the consent, of a parent or guardian in both cases of body piercing and tattooing a minor.  The bill also makes greyhound racing a first-degree misdemeanor.  A 49-1 vote was recorded.

SB 1038, PN1448 The legislation designates the bridge on State Route 11 crossing the Susquehanna River between Great Bend Township and Hallstead Borough, Susquehanna County as the Community Memorial Bridge.  A 50-0 vote was recorded.

SB 1073, PN1485 The legislation redesignates the bridge on State Route 228, which passes over Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township, Butler County, as the 79th Infantry Division Memorial Bridge.  A 50-0 vote was recorded.

SB 1092, PN1557 The legislation designates the proposed Route 22 bypass in Lehigh County from the point immediately South of Interstate 78 in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County through portions of Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County to the south interchange of Route 100 in Lower Macungie as the Fred Jaindl Memorial Highway.  A 50-0 vote was recorded.
