This bill would amend the Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code to add
redevelopment authorities to the list of persons who may seek letters of
administration. Sen. Pileggi offered amendment A3255, which would
remove an exception for redevelopment authorities.
The Senate agreed to the amendment, and the bill went over as
amended.
SB 854, PN 1231:
This legislation would bring state tax laws into compliance with federal
laws regarding the treatment of Health Savings Accounts and Medical
Savings Accounts. A 50-0 vote was recorded.
SR 190, PN 1215:
This resolution urges the Department of Agriculture and Pennsylvania
Historical and Museum Commission to take an inventory of historic barns
in the state. A 50-0 vote was recorded.
