PASSED THE SENATE

 

HB 761, PN 2998: This legislation would criminalize “up-skirting” and “down-blousing.”  A vote of 50-0 was recorded in concurrence with House amendments, as amended.

HB 127, PN 2996: This bill would provide for certain rights of resource (foster) parents.  A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

SB 583, PN 607: This legislation would prohibit a convicted arsonist from serving as a member of a volunteer firefighter company and from being certified as a firefighter under the State Fire Commissioner Act.  A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

SB 595, PN 1265: This bill would authorize non-profit corporations to appoint minors, who are at least sixteen years of age, to their board of directors if provided in the articles of incorporation of the non-profit corporation.  A vote of 39-11 was recorded.

SB 759, PN 1266: This legislation would amend the Domestic Relations Code to provide further for decree of court and for defined benefit retirement plans.  A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

HB 1579, PN 2997: This legislation would outline the responsibilities of county and private agencies regarding resource (foster) families.  A vote of 48-2 was recorded.
