PASSED THE SENATE

 

SB 811, PN 1234: This legislation would amend the County Pension Law to give county retirement boards an additional year to adopt enhanced benefit class options.  A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

SB 770, PN 1416: This bill would provide for electronic postmarks and allow agencies to devise policies and procedures for their use.  Sen. Connie Williams offered amendment A5090, which was technical in nature.  The Senate agreed to the amendment, and the bill was moved up.

Executive Nominations

The Senate confirmed the following nominees.  A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

  • Julie Sokoloff, Constables’ Education and Training Board

  • Alice Zemba, Board of Trustees of Ebensburg Center

  • Duane Quinn, Magisterial District Judge, Clarion County
