PASSED THE SENATE

 

SR 27, PN 253  The resolution recognizes the Pennsylvania State Police on their 100th anniversary celebration.  The resolution was adopted with a 45-0 vote.

SB86, PN 665  This bill allows for the opening of a child abuse investigation in the child’s county of residence if the alleged abuse took place outside of Pennsylvania.  Senator Greenleaf proposed Amendment A0247, which adds for general protective services report language.

SB 229, PN 407  This bill imposes a moratorium on the closure of mental health and retardation facilities and requires the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to study the issue.  A 26-19 vote was recorded.

SB 158, PN 649  The measure would authorize transfer of ownership from the City to the Commonwealth (PennDOT) for a portion of the Bayfront Parkway.  Senator Earll offered Amendment A0258, which changes the wording from publication of the road transfer to approval of a resolution by City Council for the road transfer.  The amendment was approved with a 45-0 vote.
