SB 157 PN 809:
This bill mandates that political subdivisions provide the low-income
exemption that is currently allowed by law in regards to any person
whose total income is less than twelve thousand dollars ($12,000)
annually. It also mandates that payments of the EMS tax shall be on a
quarterly or more frequent basis. A 47-0 vote was recorded.

This bill allows any party (employees and employers) involved in
unemployment compensation proceedings to be represented by legal counsel
