PASSED THE SENATE

 

SB 62, PN 774: This bill would allow local governments to utilize electronic bidding for services and supplies.  A 46-0 vote was recorded.

SB 82, PN 786: This bill would prohibit condominium or homeowners associations from banning the display of the American flag, the Pennsylvania flag, and military flags.  Senator Mellow offered amendment A1007, which was technical in nature.  The Senate agreed to the amendment, and the bill went over as amended.

SB 198, PN 787: This bill would make it unlawful for floral corporations to misrepresent themselves as local businesses in local telephone directories.  Senator Greenleaf offered amendment A1021, which removes telephone directory publishers and media outlets from liability for disseminating misleading information about floral businesses.  The Senate agreed to the amendment, and the bill went over as amended.
