provide Pennsylvania soldiers and sailors returning from serving in Iraq
and Afghanistan with a 90-day extension on their Act 235 (Lethal Weapons
Training Act) certification, if the permit has lapsed during their tour
of duty. A vote of 47-0 was recorded.
HB 1834, PN 3169: This bill would authorize the Department of
Transportation to provide electronic access to drivers’ licensing
information for approved organ procurement organizations. These
organizations would be prohibited from using the information for any
purpose other than to ascertain organ donor status. A vote of 47-0 was
recorded.
