This bill would extend the Volunteer Fire Company and Volunteer
Ambulance Service Grant program. Sen. Regola offered amendment A0052,
which would extend the program through 2011 and require the Legislative
Budget and Finance Committee to conduct a performance review of the
program. The Senate agreed to the amendment, and the bill went over as
amended.
SB 218, PN 39:
This bill would amend the Local Tax Enabling Act to reform the
imposition, collection, and administration of the $52 Emergency and
Municipal Services Tax. A vote of 47-3 was recorded.
