This bill would amend the Public School Code to require those schools
that have not met state academic performance targets or those identified
for warning, improvement, or corrective action to revise their
professional education plans. This legislation would also require the
Department of Education to create a clearinghouse of continuing
education programs. A vote of 49-1 was recorded.

This bill would amend the Public School Code to authorize intermediate
units to establish a pool of educational advisors for schools identified
for improvement or corrective action. A vote of 49-1 was recorded.

This legislation would permit certified nurse practitioners and
physicians’ assistants to perform physical exams required for teacher
certifications. A vote of 50-0 was recorded.
