PASSED THE SENATE

 

SB 355, PN 737:  The bill amends Pennsylvania’s “Air Pollution Control Act” (Act 787 of 1959) to provide for public review of state implementation plans (SIPs).  A vote of 48-0 was recorded. 

SB 86, PN 750:  This bill would permit a business to resell tickets through an internet site. Such an act is presently prohibited in Pennsylvania. A 45-3 vote was recorded. 

SB 180, PN 216:  The legislation adds the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies to the department’s power for arrangement of veterans’ burial details.  A vote of 48-0 was recorded.  A unanimous vote was recorded. 

SB 306, PN 342:  The bill amends the Crimes Code to provide a person with immunity from prosecution for underage drinking under certain circumstances.  A vote of 48-0 was recorded. 

SB 550, PN 293:  The legislation amends the Insurance Company Law by bringing hospital plan corporations and professional health services plan corporations (Blue Cross and Blue Shield) under the Insurance Holding Company Act. A unanimous vote was recorded. 

SR 21, PN 49:  The Resolution designates the week of April 15 through 21, 2007, as "Local Government Week" in Pennsylvania.  A unanimous vote was recorded.

SR 45, PN 153:  The resolution urges the United States Congress to provide equitable funding to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for quality affordable housing.  A 48-0 vote was recorded.
