PASSED THE SENATE

 

SB 121, PN 166: This Democratic-sponsored legislation would amend the Judicial Code to clarify the definition of burglary. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 183, PN 854: This bill would amend the Crimes Code relating to impersonating a public servant. Sen. Mellow offered amendment A422, which was technical in nature. The Senate agreed to the amendment, and the bill went over as amended.

SB 233, PN 759: This Democratic-sponsored bill would convey approximately 108 acres of land at the Laurel Highlands state prison to Somerset County for the purpose of developing an industrial park. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 432, PN 753: This legislation would amend the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act to add several offenses related to the operation of methamphetamine laboratories. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 433, PN 481: This bill would amend the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act to add a section providing for environmental cleanup costs associated with the operation of a meth lab. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 434, PN 482: This bill would amend the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act to add an offense for knowingly possessing certain substances with the intent to manufacture meth. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 436, PN 484: This legislation would amend the Crimes Code to add a section providing for the operation of a meth lab. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 548, PN 292: This legislation would establish a new program within the Department of Public Welfare to provide incentives for Pennsylvania residents who purchase long-term care insurance. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 44, PN 855: This bill would amend the Judicial Code to provide for the compensation of judges and for exclusive jurisdiction of the state Supreme Court. Sen. Piccola offered amendment A426, which was technical in nature. The Senate agreed to the amendment, and the bill, as amended, was moved up.

SR 41, PN 856: This resolution directs the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to investigate the Department of General Services’ strategic sourcing initiative. Sen. Wonderling offered amendment A431, which changes the date for the committee to deliver its report. The Senate agreed to the amendment, and the resolution went over as amended.
