This legislation authorizes the conveyance of lands in Skippack
Township, Montgomery County in exchange for lands in Evansburg State
Park; the sale of land in Winslow Township, Jefferson County to
Jefferson County and the conveyance of land to Mansfield Borough, Tioga
County. Senator Fontana offered amendment A3068, which authorizes to
sell state office building in the city of Pittsburgh. Senator Fumo
offered amendment A3064, which authorizes to sell state office building
in the city of Philadelphia. The Senate agreed to both amendments, and
the bill went over as amended.
SB 968, PN 1298:
The bill amends the Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error (Mcare)
Act by adding a chapter that relates to the reduction and prevention of
health care-associated infections. A vote of 49-0 was recorded on
concurrence.
