PASSED THE SENATE

 

 

SB1000, PN1490:  This bill would prohibit the regulation of voice-over-Internet protocol and other Internet protocol-enabled products and services; and providing for preservation of consumer protection, for fees and rates and for preservation of cable franchise authority.  A vote of 34-13 was recorded.

SB1125, PN1573This bill would amend Title 18, the Crimes and Offenses code, and Title 42, the Judiciary and Judicial Procedures code, prohibiting the use of name, portrait or picture of a soldier in certain cases.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded.

SB1147, PN1575:  This bill would amend Title 23, the Domestic Relations code, and would further provide for information relating to prospective child-care personnel.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded.

SB1156, PN1576: This bill would Title 42, the Judiciary and Judicial Procedures code, further providing for notice and hearing and for disposition of dependent child.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded.

SB1159, PN1548:  This act would designate Long Pond Road in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County, from the intersection with SR 115 eastward to the intersection with Stony Hollow Road, as Dr. Joseph Mattioli and Dr. Rose Mattioli Drive.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded.

SR203, PN1537:  This resolution would urge the President and the Congress of the United States to suspend funding for the Cross-Border Trucking Demonstration Project, implemented by the United States Department of Transportation, which allows Mexican trucks free access to our nation's roads.  A vote of 46-1 was recorded.
