The bill amends Act 586 of 1965, relating to recreational land and water
use limited liability for landowners by adding to the definitions of
land and recreational purpose. A vote of 50-0 was recorded.
SB776, PN1719:
This bill allows for a county board of elections to be notified of the
death of residents for the purpose of updating voter registration
records.
Senator Wonderling
offered Amendment A05321. This amendment provides that the person in
charge of removing the deceased from the registration office may file
the necessary certificate with the State Registrar. The Registrar may
then issue a permit of disposal. Also, the Department of Health shall
notify the Department of State monthly, of all deaths of individuals 18
and older. The Senate agreed to the amendment and the bill went over as
amended.
SB313, PN1692:
This bill amends the Pharmacy Act to create the registration and
qualifications for a pharmacy technician.
