SB 295, PN 1707:  This bill creates a free standing Act to be cited as the Diesel-Powered Commercial Vehicle Idling Act.  A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

SB 776, PN 1719:  The legislation allows for the Department of State to be notified of the death of residents for the purpose of updating voter registration records.  A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

SB 949, PN 1710:  This bill creates the “Bituminous Coal Mine Safety Act” and is an extensive revision of Pennsylvania’s underground mine safety law.  The bill applies to all underground bituminous coal mines in Pennsylvania.  Senator Kasunic offered amendment A05686, which was technical in nature.  The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over in its order.

SB 987, PN 1620:  The bill amends the Third Class City Code by ensuring that third class cities are responsible for providing fire and emergency medical services and to require certain reporting requirements.  A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

HB 1131, PN 1382:  The bill amends The Second Class Township Code by requiring townships provide fire and emergency medical services.  Townships will also be responsible for financial and administrative assistance to carry out the services.  A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

HB 1133, PN 1384:  The legislation amends The Borough Code by requiring boroughs to provide fire and emergency medical services.  Boroughs will also be responsible for financial and administrative assistance to carry out the services.  A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

HB 1134, PN 1385:  The legislation amends The First Class Township Code by requiring first class townships to provide fire and emergency medical services.  These townships will also be responsible for financial and administrative assistance to carry out the services.  A vote of 50- 0 was recorded.

SB 1201, PN 1709:  This bill amends Title 74 (Transportation) pertaining to the use of official Commonwealth aircraft for travel.  A vote of 50- 0 was recorded.
