PASSED THE SENATE

 

 

SB 820, PN 1989: This bill defines robo-calls and prohibits their use in political campaigns.  The bill passed with a 48-1 vote.

SB 1063, PN 1988: This bill would establish various reforms in relation to the collection of earned income tax that would consolidate, modernize, and introduce uniformity to the collection process.  The bill passed with a 41-8 vote.

SB 1107, PN 1987: The legislation amends Title 51 (Military Code) to further provide for child custody agreements of deployed military service personnel.  The bill passed with a 49-0 vote.

SR 296, PN 1976: This Resolution designates May 1, 2008, as “Loyalty Day” in Pennsylvania.  Loyalty Day is a special day for reaffirming loyalty to the United States and recognizing American freedom.  The resolution was adopted.
