The bill
amends the Liquor Code by further providing for the definitions of
“eligible entity” and “public venue” and further providing for hotel
licenses. Senator Rafferty offered amendment A02290 that allows members
of the governing board of public authority to have distributor license.
The Senate agreed to the amendment. Senator Logan offered amendment
A02298 which allows the holder of a sacramental wine license, who owns
or operates a restaurant or an eating establishment, to sell sacramental
wine for consumption on the premises. It also allows the purchaser of
sacramental wine to remove a partially consumed bottle of wine from the
premises if purchased in conjunction with a meal on the premises. The
Senate agreed to the amendment. Senator Logan also offered amendment
A02310 that states that a person holding a slot machine license who also
holds a restaurant license shall be eligible to receive an enhanced
restaurant license. A vote of 42-7 was recorded on the amendment and
the bill went over as amended.
HB 89, PN 2180:
This bill
amends Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses)
by making
it a criminal offense to intentionally view any book, magazine,
pamphlet, slide, photograph, film, videotape, computer depiction or
other material depicting a child under the age of 18 years engaging in a
prohibited sexual act or in the simulation of such act.
A vote of 49-0 was recorded.
