SB 107, PN 1304:
This bill requires the Treasurer to post the salaries of certain
governmental employees on the Internet.
Senator Costa offered amendment A02854 that states that a local agency
may redact the name of an individual if the individual is regularly
involved in the conduct of undercover criminal investigation under
certain terms. The Senate agreed to the amendment.
Senator Pileggi offered amendment A02855 which state that nothing in
this act shall eliminate the duty of an agency to provide the salary of
an officer or employee of a Commonwealth agency or a local agency under
the
Right-to-Know Law. However, a Commonwealth agency or local agency shall
not be required to release any tax form required under the Internal
Revenue Code of 1986 or under State or local tax law. The Senate agreed
to the amendment and the bill went over as amended.
SB 925, PN 1309:
This bill
amends the Massage Therapy Law
by requiring that an
applicant must have completed a massage program of at least 600 hours of
in-class, postsecondary education instruction approved by the board at a
regionally accredited college or university, Pennsylvania private
licensed school or its equivalent as determined by the board.
