Sabatina Collecting Donations of Winter Outerwear to Help Local Families

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 24, 2017—State Sen. John Sabatina is participating in Catholic Community Services’ ninth annual Operation Bundle Up by collecting winter coats and winter accessories for families in the community.

Donations of new or gently used coats, hats, scarves, gloves and other accessories for children and adults from ages birth and up will be accepted Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. now through Dec. 2 at the senator’s offices at 12361 Academy Road and 8016 Bustleton Avenue.

“As the weather turns colder and the holiday season begins, we want to make sure that families in our own community have the proper winter outerwear,” said Sabatina (D-Philadelphia). “I encourage folks to join me in kicking off the season of giving by donating winter items and providing warmth to those in need.”

For more information, call the senator’s offices at 215-281-2539 (Academy Road) or 215-695-1020 (Bustleton Avenue).
