BREAKING NEWS: UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS EXTENDED
Pennsylvanians struggling to find work as the economy falters will now have some breathing room, state Sen. Christine M. Tartaglione announced today.
This morning, President Bush signed a bill extending unemployment benefits for an additional 13 weeks.
“Tough times require prompt action and I’m happy that the federal government has responded,” Tartaglione said. “I hope this allows working families to breathe easier during the stressful search for new jobs.”
