I have agreed that if the DiCicco-Nutter bill is finally passed and signed into law, I will not push for my bill because I would be criticized for "piling on." However, because the wage tax affects so many suburban residents, it now appears that suburban Republicans will pick up the gauntlet and continue to push for my bill. If that occurs, I have also said publicly that I would vote for my bill. At this time, there will be hearings on our bill tomorrow in Harrisburg and it appears as if the bill is gaining momentum. Therefore, we might all benefit even further if it becomes law.
