HB 434, PN 3131 (Maloney)– Amends Title 23 (Domestic Relations) in child protective services, further providing for definitions, for establishment of Statewide database, for disposition of founded and indicated reports, for expunction of information of perpetrator under the age of 18, for amendment or expunction of information, for information relating to prospective child-care personnel, for information relating to family day-care home residents, for information relating to other persons having contact with children, for cooperation of other agencies and for reports to Governor and General Assembly; repealing provisions relating to students in public and private schools and for background checks for employment in schools; and making a related repeal. 

Senator Vulakovich offered amendment A06782 which was clarifies language regarding reporting to the statewide database. The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over as amended.

SB 799, PN 1852 (Robbins) – Amends the Self-Service Storage Facility Act providing for definitions, for enforcement of lien, for notice and for limitation on liability of owner.

Senator Robbins offered amendment A06713 which provides for electronic default notices under certain circumstances. The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over as amended.

SB 959, PN 1853 (Vance) – Amends the Professional Nursing Law providing for the definition of “certified registered nurse anesthetist” and for certified registered nurse anesthetists. A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

SB 1255, PN 1774 (Erickson) – Amends Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) in municipal authorities, further providing for purposes and powers.

Senator Erickson offered amendment A06759 which was technical in nature. The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over as amended.

SB 1312, PN 1877 (Vogel) – Amends Title 75 (Vehicles) in size, weight and load, further providing for length of vehicles. A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

HB 1513, PN 2492 (Dunbar) – Amends the Local Tax Enabling Act providing for delegation of taxing powers and restrictions thereon. A vote of 34-16 was recorded.
