HB 165, PN 3272 (J. Evans) – This bill amends Title 18 (Crimes Code) by imposing a criminal penalty upon the owner or co-owner of a dog that injures a service dog used by an individual with a disability.  Senator Eichelberger offered Amendment A10273, which provides for further definitions, and expanded language pertaining to civil penalties and restitution.  A vote of 45-2 was recorded and the bill went over as amended.

SB 351, PN 745 (Baker) – This bill amends Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in particular rights and immunities, further providing for Good Samaritan civil immunity for use of automated external defibrillator and for nonmedical Good Samaritan civil immunity.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded.

SB 1509, PN 2150 (Earll) – This legislation would authorize the Department of General Services, with the approval of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission and the Governor, to grant and convey to the Erie Art Museum certain land located in the City of Erie, Erie County.  A vote of 47-0 was recorded

HB 804, PN 823 (Masser) – This bill amends Title 42 by allowing for an optional exemption from jury duty for any person who had already served a full term on a statewide investigating grand jury. Senator Pileggi offered Amendment A10610, which was technical in nature. The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over as amended.
