HB 290, PN 2626– The legislation amends the Second Class County Code  to increase non-bid contract maximums and to provide for the annual indexing and adjusting of these figures for inflation.   A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 367, PN 1670 – This bill is known as the “Indigenous Mineral Resources Development Act” imposes certain powers on the Department of General Services and the State System of Higher Education (SSHE) when it comes to the development of minerals on state-owned land.  Senator D. White offered amendment A5730 which was technical in nature.  The Senate agreed to the amendment and the bill went over as amended.

SB 469, PN 1164 – This bill amends “The Land for Recreation – Limiting Liability of Owner Act” to change and add certain definitions.  The act was passed to make land and water areas available to the public for recreation by limiting liability in connection with its use.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 595, PN 1703  – The bill amends Title 75 by providing for the enforcement of Red Light violations through the use of automated red light enforcement systems in a city of the first class, second class or second class A and certain third class cities.  A vote of 35-14 was recorded.

SB 747, PN 757 – This bill establishes the State Board of Plumbing Contractors within the Department of Labor and Industry and creates the Plumbing Contractors Licensure Account in Treasury.  A vote of 35-14 was recorded.

SB 887, PN 903 – This legislation amends the Landlord and Tenant Act of 1951 by adding a section regarding the claiming and disposal of property left behind by a tenant.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.
