HB 1459, PN 3945 (Schlossberg) – An Act amending Title 35 (Health and Safety) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for emergency responder mental wellness and stress management; establishing the Statewide Critical Incident Stress Management Program; providing for duties of the Secretary of Health and the Department of Health; and, in emergency medical services system, further providing for support of emergency medical services. Senator Iovino offered amendment A06705 which changes the definition of post-traumatic stress injury and provides for deployment protections for emergency responders and other technical changes. The amendment was agreed to by a voice vote. The bill was approved by a vote of 49-0.

HB 672, PN 2004 (Ortitay) – Amends Act 10 of 1970 (Allowing Minors to Consent to Medical Care) by clarifying consent provisions for minors as it relates to mental health treatment. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

HB 1437, PN 4124 (M.K. Keller) – This bill amends the Tax Reform Code to make revisions to the Rural Jobs and Investment Tax Credit Program to increase the tax credit from $30 million to $60 million. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

HB 2484, PN 4008 (White) – This bill would allow nonprofits and charitable trusts to designate up to 10% of the total value of the trust or assets they hold as spendable income, the current limit is 7%. The bill further provides for the investment of trust funds and nonjudicial settlement agreements. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.
