HB 1460 PN 2626 (Adolph): This bill provides the General Appropriation for the 2015-16 fiscal year. This bill appropriates $30.2 billion and would increase public school funding however, this increase is much less than the $350 million increase Governor Wolf and Republican leaders had originally agreed upon. Revenue sources for this bill include funds from Internet gaming and an increase in the cigarette tax. Senator Corman made a motion to revert the bill from PN 2632 to the prior printer’s number (PN 2626) and this motion passed with a vote of (31-19). The bill was reverted to HB 1460 PN 2626. The bill was approved with a vote of (33-17).

HB 1332 PN 1814 (Godshall): This bill amends the PSERS and SERS retirement codes to make changes to the administration of the pension systems in order to comply with federal rules.  Senator Corman made a motion to revert the bill from PN 2684 to the prior printer’s number (PN 1814). The bill was reverted to HB 1332 PN 1814 and was approved with a vote of (50-0).
