SB 872, PN 1006 (Eichelberger) – This bill amends The Second Class Township Code. It provides first class township commissioners with additional powers in regards to appropriations for observances, celebrations and recognitions. A vote of 46-0 was recorded.
SB 873, PN 1007 (Eichelberger) – This bill amends Title 8 (Boroughs and Incorporated Towns) to allow Borough Council to appropriate money to purchase personal gifts/tokens costing no more than $100, which may be used to recognize a borough official or employee. A vote of 46-0 was recorded.
SR 54, PN 651 (Argall) – This resolution asks Congress and the President to review unfair government-sponsored anthracite exports by China, Russia and Ukraine. The Senate adopted the resolution, 46-0.
