HARRISBURG, October 1, 2018 – Senator Art Haywood (D-Philadelphia/Montgomery) will host a news conference on finding solutions to poverty in Harrisburg on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pennsylvania State Capitol, N 3rd St, Harrisburg, PA 17120.

In response to the Philadelphia Tribune’s “Broke in Philly” news coverage, Sen. Haywood will discuss necessary steps to alleviate poverty in Philadelphia, including raising the minimum wage, assistance with securing child care, and job training.
